Who Am I?
As a driven, goal-oriented, and creative interior designer/decorator, I, Jannelle Rodd, am deeply passionate about transforming spaces and creating environments that inspire, elevate, and leave a lasting impression. I’ve dedicated myself to bringing beauty, functionality, and personality to every design project I take on. My journey in interior design began with an internship in 2021, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience and elevated my design skills to new levels. Graduating in 2023 with a degree in Interior Design and Decorating, I’m proud to have turned my passion into a profession that opens endless opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Jannelle always had a natural eye for style and a deep love for creating beautiful, functional
spaces. What started as a hobby—rearranging rooms and helping friends with their homes—
quickly turned into a successful passion. Encouraged by the joy her designs brought others, she
took a leap and started her own interior design and decorating business. Today, Jannelle
transforms everyday spaces into personalized sanctuaries, blending creativity with comfort to
bring her clients’ visions to life.
Since 2024
History
Education
I completed my studies in Interior Decorating with honors, gaining a strong foundation in design principles, color theory, and space planning. This academic training helped shape my design perspective and built the skills I rely on today.
Hands-On Experience
At just 19, I began an internship with a reputable design firm. There, I worked directly with clients and learned the day-to-day realities of the industry—project management, sourcing, client communication, and real-world problem solving.
Expanding My Skills
To further broaden my experience, I worked both with home staging companies and other designers. These collaborations exposed me to a wide range of styles and taught me to adapt my design approach to meet different client needs and preferences
Launching My Business
In 2024, I took the leap and launched my own interior decorating business. Based in Durham Region and serving the Greater Toronto Area, I began taking on my own clients and building a brand rooted in personalized, functional, and well-designed spaces.
Growth & Success
In just one year, I’ve successfully completed five full design projects and continue to do home staging on the side. Every project has been an opportunity to bring a client’s vision to life— and to transform spaces into environments filled with warmth, character, and intentional design.
